Scott Virgin is both a licensed Public Adjuster (FL License #W268711) and a certified marine surveyor, holding memberships with SAMS, NAMSGlobal, and IAMI. When acting as a Public Adjuster through Public Yacht Adjusters, Scott investigates and analyzes claims exclusively in the capacity of a Public Adjuster and is compensated on a contingency basis, as permitted by Florida law.

In this capacity, he does not conduct or issue marine surveys or investigative reports under the auspices of NAMS, SAMS, or IAMI, and does not invoke the authority of those organizations in public adjusting matters. Any surveying or investigative work conducted under those credentials is performed separately through Miami Marine Survey, LLC, and never in connection with claims where he has a financial interest in the outcome.

This strict role separation ensures full compliance with the ethical codes of each professional organization and protects the integrity of both professions.
